What to Pack

What we suggest you bring:

  • Water bottle(s) – one to fit in saddle bags
  • Sleeping bag and pad (not needed for weekend one, weekends two and three can rent from Wilderness Trails Outfitters with advance notice)
  • Flashlight/headlamp
  • Special medication
  • Small day pack
  • Toiletries
  • Long pants
  • Swimsuit (for river swimming if wanted)
  • Warm jacket (it gets cold at night!)
  • Rain gear (rain pants or riding slicker are recommended)
  • Hat
  • Gloves
  • Long sleeve shirt (to protect skin from the sun and/or be warmer in rainy weather)
  • Sweater or sweatshirt (layers!)
  • Extra socks
  • Riding boots or sturdy shoes for riding
  • Extra shoes other than riding boots
