Do I need my own horse?
No, Wilderness Trails outfitters provides experienced, sure-footed equine partners for Cowgirl Camp.

What is the terrain like?
These are not pony rides on the beach. The terrain is rugged and the rides are long, but you will be paired with an experienced horse so you can focus on the scenery.

What is your cancellation policy?
Each trip requires a 25% deposit at booking. 25% of the payment will be auto collected 150 days before the trip, another 25% is collected 90 days before, and the final 25% of the payment will be collected 30 days before your trip. All payments made are NONREFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERABLE. We strongly encourage all our guests to purchase trip insurance.

How much riding time is included?
You will ride every day! Each weekend’s itinerary is different but all include a lot of saddle time in the beautiful Wyoming scenery.

Is Cowgirl Camp beginner friendly?
Cowgirl Camp can accommodate all levels of experience. Be aware that we will be in the saddle for many hours at a time for multiple days – you may be sore.

Where is Cowgirl Camp located?
Cowgirl Camp is approximately one hour from Jackson, WY (nearest airport).

What is included in the price?
Lodging, meals, horse rental, and tack rental are included from beginning to end of Cowgirl Camp. You have the option of adding on an additional night’s lodging and renting gear such as a sleeping bag.

I’m traveling from across the country, can I arrive the day before camp begins?
You can add-on the night before Cowgirl Camp for $150 – this includes supper, lodging, and breakfast
